Dr. Marianna Felici is a Research Scientist at the Center for Space Physics at Boston University. While during her graduate studies, Felici mainly focused on studying charged particles trapped inside the magnetosphere of Saturn, since 2017 she has expanded her research focus on the ionosphere of Mars. Felici is part of the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN (MAVEN) mission, working on the Radio Occultation Science Experiment (ROSE), and studies how the Martian ionosphere changes with local time and season, and how it responds to different events like dust storms and precipitating particles.
