Mingrui Liu

Postdoctoral Associate, Boston University

Mingrui is a postdoc associate at Boston University, working with Professor Francesco Orabona. He received his Ph.D. at the University of Iowa in the Department of Computer Science in August 2020, under the advise of Professor Tianbao Yang. His current research interests are machine learning, optimization, learning theory, and deep learning. His ultimate goal is to design provably efficient algorithms for machine learning problems with strong empirical performance.
