Deedee Agee
Deedee Agee is a writer and artist who joined ID 450 four years ago when she moved to the Boston area from New York. She has taught writing as an adjunct at various New York colleges, worked as a chef, house painter, reproductive counselor and senior housing administrator. She has given numerous readings at the Cornelia Street CafĂ© in New York, and through the Writer’s Room of Boston. Recipient of a Geraldine R. Dodge fellowship, she is currently working on a memoir about her father, James Agee, a collection of stories and a novel. She lives in Scituate, MA with her husband of 27 years, and is also a member of Printmakers of Cape Cod.
