One of two adjacent row houses with elements of the Queen Anne style built in 1891 for speculative developer Samuel M. Shapleigh, who also built several residences in Back Bay. The building was designed by Samuel D. Kelley. You can see other BU residences designed by Kelley along Beacon Street at 822, 832, 845, 850, 853, 856, and 908, and at 90 St. Mary’s Street.
906 Beacon is located in BU’s South Campus, a tranquil, private neighborhood that features a mix of families, young professionals, and BU neighbors. Central campus is right over the BU Bridge, while a short walk across Beacon Street puts you in the Fenway area. Nearby, you’ll find groceries, restaurants, shops, and more. South sits between the B- and C-lines, giving you great access to the rest of Boston.
Off-campus feel, on-campus convenience: South Campus has it all!
