Eligibility & Application
BU offers convenient and affordable summer housing for non-BU students participating in internships or research projects. To be eligible, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a current college student
- Be participating in a summer internship or supervised research program. You are required to provide proof of internship, including specific start and end dates, from your internship employer as part of the application process
- Submit a passport-style photo for a BU ID Card
- Not have graduated from college. Seniors completing their degrees in May 2024 are not eligible for internship housing
- Currently enrolled students at BU are not eligible for internship housing; students can apply for Summer Housing
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis as space remains available. Room assignments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
