BU Applicant Tracking System

SilkRoad Recruiting, the applicant tracking system used at Boston University, allows you to review résumés electronically, communicate directly with your Talent Recruitment Services contact, and effectively manage job applicants’ résumés.

Once a position is posted on the HR website, the hiring manager will automatically receive an email from HR confirming that the position has been posted. This email will go to the individual identified on the position as the hiring manager.

Viewing Résumés

As soon as a résumé is ready for your review, a member of the Talent Recruitment Services team will send you an email. Simply click on the “SilkRoad Recruiting” link in the email to go directly to the login page. On this page, enter your username and password to enter the site.

• If you are a new user, you will receive a separate email directly from “SilkRoad Recruiting Customer Support” with your username and password.

If you ever forget your password, simply click “Forgot your password?” at the bottom of the Customer Login area. You will automatically receive an email with your password.

Once you are in the system, you can begin reviewing submitted résumés for your job posting.
