Internship Description
	O.R. – Family Liaison. This involves making rounds through the operating rooms each hour and getting updates on the surgery progress from the circulating nurse or surgeon. Update patients’ families Student is required to orient to the operating room protocols for maintaining sterility in the surgical field and understanding the personal dynamics of the surgical team. Interacting with families. Keep them updated, retrieves them to speak with the surgeon and go to the Recovery Room when needed.
