Shannon Featherston

Academic Program Administrator, BU Hub

As Academic Program Administrator, Shannon coordinates, manages, tracks, and supports the systems to approve, review, and maintain the BU Hub curriculum through facilitation of critical communications and operations between faculty, administrators, and operations staff to help ensure the successful implementation and operation of the BU Hub curriculum. She works closely with the General Education Committee (GEC) in reviewing and approving courses and cocurriculars for inclusion in the Hub. Shannon also coordinates academic scheduling for BU Hub and Hub-related courses and cocurriculars which includes coordinating with the Office of the Registrar on semester offerings, booking appropriate classrooms, and managing operational information for courses in the Student Information System.

Shannon previously held the positions of Department Administrator and Administrative Coordinator for the BU Hub, Office of the Provost. She holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Stonehill College and is currently pursuing her Ed. M. degree through BU Wheelock in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies.
