Faculty and their guests gathered to celebrate another year of humanistic publications at the Center’s annual book celebration on February 27, 2025. Center Director Juliet Floyd highlighted 21 works by faculty and staff, including the Center Managing Director Kurt Cavender. The publications ranged from book projectssome built off over ten years of research and writingto translations to edited anthologies.

Scholars had the opportunity to discuss their works with each other and acknowledge the Center for the Humanities’ continued support for researchers in the Boston University community. Director Floyd remarked that these books and future publications will surely “add to the legacy of the humanities at Boston University.”

The Center looks forward to celebrating even more excellent humanities publications in the coming year.
