Sierra Grant

Sierra is a fourth year graduate student whose work focuses on protoplanetary disks and their evolution. These disks of gas and dust surround young stars and are the birth places of exoplanets. Sierra uses models and observations from space-based and ground-based telescopes to characterize protoplanetary disk evolution and what that evolution means for forming planets.

Research Interests: Protoplanetary disks, planet formation
