IGS Director Benjamin Sovacool, a lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) Working Group III report on the Mitigation of Climate Change, opened an IPCC pavilion session on Managing Just Transitions (November 15, 2022) at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) with a summary of the treatment of just transition in the report.
