IGS Director Benjamin Sovacool delivers oral testimony on net-zero industry before the Canadian Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources on March 23, 2023 as part of its study on the Canadian oil and gas industry. Dr. Sovacool touched on justice and equity in low-carbon transitions, drawing on his contributions as a Lead Author for the IPCC report Climate Change 2022: Mitigation of Climate Change, in addition to his research on decarbonization in UK industrial clusters and other related work.
