For students at Boston University, we:

Provide strategic oversight and management of Campus Climate Lab, including the solicitation and review of student-faculty team proposals and administering awards in partnership with BU Sustainability.
Advise select student teams as faculty partners.
As head of the review committee, award the Anthony Janetos Climate Action Prize to the student or team of students whose project has the most potential impact on advancing the goals of BU’s Climate Action Plan.

Co-host the Born Global Foundation Competition for Innovation in Sustainability for interdisciplinary student teams, in partnership with the College of Engineering.

Provide opportunities for student sustainability research positions and the Graduate Student Summer Fellows program.
Advise select student research projects in partnership with our affiliate schools, colleges, and programs.
IGS Peter Fox-Penner Award, awarded annually to a Boston University student for their dedication to sustainability research, honors the legacy of Peter Fox-Penner, founding director of the Boston University Institute for Sustainable Energy (2016-2021), now the Institute for Global Sustainability.
