Muhammad Hamid Zaman, affiliated faculty with the Boston University Institute for Global Sustainability (IGS), is Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Global Health and Vice Chair, Biomedical Engineering, at Boston University. He is also Director of the Center on Forced Displacement at the University. His research focuses on access to healthcare among vulnerable communities, including refugees and the impact of environmental degradation on refugees, internally displaced and stateless communities.
