
Richard Golden

Rick Golden, an advisory board member for the Boston University Institute for Global Sustainability (IGS), is a private investor in and developer of new businesses that support positive environmental, social, and governmental change. For the past 12 years, he has joined with other like-minded business partners to launch businesses in sustainability/renewable energy, healthy foods, and leading-edge technology. Golden founded the Venture Access Group to focus its investments on early and mid-stage companies that need financial investment along with deep industry, technical, and business skills to help ensure business success. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Fiberight Global Holdings LLC and Quantum Xchange, Inc.
Before his private investment career, Golden spent 28 years with Accenture where he managed large, complex business and information technology consulting projects for Global 1000 companies. He worked across the manufacturing, defense & aviation, and retail industries. He held a series of executive roles during his tenure, including Products Market Unit Chief Operating Officer, and was a member of the Global Executive Committee.
Golden graduated from the University of Notre Dame in Finance and has an MBA from Boston University’s Graduate School of Management.
