Methods of Improving Utilization of Health Insurance Programs

One of the early findings from the first study showed that majority of the population paid for healthcare with cash. Furthermore, the results revealed that a large portion of the families who could potentially be eligible for free or subsidized health programs were unaware of the health insurance schemes and their eligibility. This finding underscores an important point: a gap in healthcare delivery exists that may be primarily attributed to lack of awareness about existing programs and eligibility criteria.

This study will determine the most cost-efficient way to increase awareness and to optimize family enrollment in affordable healthcare insurance programs.
