Vivek Pandit

I joined Boston University in 2021 to lead research collaboration efforts with industry within the interdisciplinary Computing and Data Sciences domain. As part of the Industry Engagement office, my primary role is to identify opportunities for collaboration among industry innovators and BU faculty in areas of shared interest – and to nurture, support, and help grow them to their full potential. With 30 years of experience in corporate strategy, product development, business development, equity investing, and M&A, my work has spanned the software, hardware, media, telecom, healthcare, and management consulting industries across three continents and from startups to large corporations.

I received a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay, an M.S.M.E. from Purdue University, and an M.B.A. from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
