Applications for IOC City of Boston Fellowship Open
The Initiative on Cities is thrilled to open applications for the 2015 IOC Summer Fellow in the City of Boston’s Mayor’s Office. This Fellowship enables a Boston University graduate student to work with the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics, a ground-breaking team dedicated to civic innovation and creative approaches to municipal governance.
2014 IOC Summer Fellow Cortney Tunis (GSM ’15) worked with the New Urban Mechanics to build an app capable of driving foot traffic at urban farmers markets towards local businesses. Tunis presented her work at Understanding and Improving Cities (right) to Boston-area innovators, public officials, and academic & non-profit leaders.
BU Graduate students can visit our Future Leaders: Fellowships page for more information on this opportunity to work directly for one of the nation’s leading cities. Please contact Conor LeBlanc by email or phone at (617) 358-8086 with any further questions.
