Robert Kaufmann

Kaufmann’s research focuses on world oil markets, global climate change, the global carbon cycle and deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon. He is currently teaching courses including Introduction to Environmental Science, Energy and Environmental Policy Analysis and Regional Energy Modeling. He also serves as the Director for the Center for Energy and Environmental Studies.

With a grant from the Initiative, Kaufmann enters Phase II of an ongoing project on energy efficiency at Madison Park Village. Robert is partnering with Michael Gevelber from the College of Engineering and Nalin Kulatilaka from the Questrom School of Business on this project that also received grant funding from Wells Fargo.
