As International Admissions Specialist, Pankhuri Barnes is responsible for completing immigration processing for approximately 5,000 new international undergraduate, graduate, and non-degree students admitted annually to both the Charles River and Medical Campuses.

Prior to joining BU Global Programs, Pankhuri worked as the Assistant Registrar and then the Associate Director of International Student Advising/PDSO at the New England College of Optometry. Before that, she worked in the hospitality industry.

Pankhuri holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Fisher College and a Master of Science in Management from Simmons University. She came to Boston as an international student, and she is fluent in Hindi. She enjoys cooking, especially Indian and Middle Eastern food.
