Julia Case, PhD

CAS ’14 Clinical Psychologist and Postdoctoral Scholar

I am a clinical psychologist who works in both research and clinical work. My research interests include the examination of neural reward-related deficits utilizing fMRI as markers of risk for non-suicidal self-injury and suicide in children and adolescents. My clinical interests include working with youth with depression (particularly LGBTQ+ folks) across inpatient and outpatient settings, using DBT-A to reduce risk for engagement in self-injurious and suicidal behaviors. I also volunteer as a mentor with Project SHORT, in order to increase representation in STEM and to combat systemic inequalities in the graduate school admissions process!
