CFA’27 Music
Hello! I’m Katherine Guo, a sophomore currently studying music, though I will be switching to math/physics soon. I am from New Jersey (just like a billion other BU students, for some reason).
Even within just my first year, being in KHC has made me feel inspired to do things and curious about subjects I would never have considered otherwise. The special first-year seminars are unlike any other class you could take and I can’t imagine how else I could develop an interest in urban design. KHC also hosts co-curricular events, inviting a diverse range of guests for speeches and activities, and it’s hard to not feel the energy in the air when a jazz trio is playing live.
Maybe it’s because of Kilachand that I got myself into many clubs: I’m a member of things from BUMAA to Bug Club to Eastern European Society. I don’t mind sharing a story with the BU Arts & Literature Club, and I’m eager to sit down for a new game at Board Games Club. In my own time, I love to read and write fiction, practice the piano, or study Polish.
