Hi! My name is Laurel Purcell (she/her) and I’m from Pittsburgh, PA. I am a sophomore in the Faculty of Computing and Data Science, majoring in Data Science with a minor in Media Science. Outside of Kilachand, I am on the logistics team for BostonHacks and involved with Girls Who Code and PMReady.
I love reading and creative writing. I have also been a lifelong runner and have really been enjoying getting out to explore the best places to see in Boston with my roommates – email me for recommendations :)
Being in Kilachand has made my time at Boston University so special – it’s a wonderful community and it has eased my transition to college in many ways. I have met some of my closest friends through being a Kilachand student and had so many opportunities that I would have otherwise never experienced.
