Lilu  Trondowski

CAS ‘27   Comparative Literature

Hello! My name is Lilu Trondowski (she/her) and I am majoring in Comparative Literature. I am from New York City and have lived there my entire life, but my entire family is Polish so I grew up in a bilingual household and travel to Poland frequently. I plan to concentrate in Spanish literature as well as Eastern European literature, and am in the process of adding an Anthropology major.

Although I am relatively new to the BU community, I have joined several clubs and organizations on campus. I am a current writer for the Boston Political Review, BU’s online student politics newspaper, am undergoing the onboarding process at The Daily Free Press, BU’s independent student newspaper, and am also a member of the BU Ski and Snowboard Club.

Off campus, I tutor three girls in math and English in Brookline, a perfect part-time job that gives me a chance to spend a portion of my day away from academic life.

I have truly felt my BU experience to be enhanced by being a part of the Kilachand community. At Kilachand, I have an ideal balance between the social, academic, and personal spheres of college, being situated equidistant from west campus and the heart of Boston’s downtown area. Both my first-semester seminar courses and the one I am currently enrolled in have been incredibly fruitful additions to my BU curriculum, the second of which ignited my newfound love for studies in anthropology. Kilachand has introduced me to a wonderful group of professors and friends, and I look forward to welcoming a new group of peers next fall!

Feel free to contact me with any questions, or just to chat about life at BU!
