Monet Ota
COM’25 Film & TV and Public Relations
Hey all! I’m Monet Ota (she/her) and I’m from Centreville, Virginia. I’m a junior double majoring in Film & TV and Public Relations in the College of Communication.
Kilachand has been such an integral part of my college experience, especially in my freshman year. Through the program, I was able to take classes outside of my fields of study and most importantly, find some of my best friends, several of whom also became my roommates. I’ve also enjoyed the much beloved Kilachand Tea, where we can snack and mingle with our fellow KHC students.
Outside of classes, I’m a part of the Daily Free Press‘ sports section and I also help produce Offsides, a BUTV10 sports talk show. More often than not, you can find me in West Campus working as a video production assistant for BU Athletics or working for the men’s hockey team in the equipment room.
