Ranely Henriquez

ENG’26 Biomedical Engineering

Hi! I’m Ranely Henriquez (she/her). I am in the Class of 2026, studying Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Mechanical Engineering. I am Dominican-American. My interests lie in Product Design and Manufacturing for medical devices. I am from Methuen, Massachusetts, a town north of Boston.

On campus I work as a Lab Assistant at the Engineering Product Innovation Center, where I help students and staff bring their projects to life. Here, I also help teach a variety of different engineering classes.I am a part of the National Society of Black Engineers and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. As a part of the National Society of Black Engineers I am a mentor for freshmen in BME. I am a part of Tri-Alpha Honors Society, an honors society that highlights the accomplishments of first-generation students. In my free time I am an avid knitter, crocheter and reader!

I have really enjoyed being a part of Kilachand. Kilachand has helped me become a well-rounded and informed student. I have been able to keep learning about social justice and liberal arts while studying engineering.

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions about KHC, engineering, navigating college as a first-gen student or anything else!
