Adjunct Faculty, History and Society Division

Babson College is accepting applications for a part-time faculty member for Spring 2018 to teach social science courses on Latin America; applicants with a disciplinary background in history are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants may be asked to teach either two sections of “Latin American History,” which serves as a broad overview of the region’s history, or “Peoples and Cultures of the Americas,” which explores political, economic, social, and cultural developments across the region since the late 18th century. Applicants may also propose a more focused, in-depth course centered on Latin America. This position is well-suited for an advanced graduate student or postdoc seeking teaching experience in preparation for entering the faculty job market.
