We at the Center for Latin American Studies at Boston University would like to express our deep concern over the brutal repression with which the Colombian government has responded to the social protests and civic demonstrations taking place throughout the country.

As a Center dedicated to promoting the social good in Latin America and to bringing attention to indigenous civil rights struggles in the region, we express our solidarity with the people of Colombia.

Statement on Diversity and Inclusion

The Center for Latin American Studies at Boston University is proud of BU’s history of diversity and inclusion.
