Peter Rosenthal (’95) Joins Downtown Music Publishing as General Counsel
Downtown Music Publishing has announced the appointment of Peter Rosenthal (’95) as general counsel.
Rosenthal will oversee worldwide legal and business affairs for Downtown Music Publishing, Songtrust, and Downtown Music Studios.
This remit will include publishing, administration, license agreements and other transactional matters, acquisitions, global policy, enforcement, and corporate matters. Rosenthal will be based in New York, reporting to Downtown’s chief operating officer, Andrew Bergman.
Bergman said: “Peter and I have been working together for more than a decade. When I joined Downtown, he became the outside advisor with whom we entrusted much of the complicated legal work involved in building our dynamic, global business.”
