Learning from Each Other: Paid Externships – Issues of Equity and Best Practices

Kate Devlin Joyce and Peggy Maisel will speak at the Externships 11 Conference, hosted by Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, on October 8 from 10-11:15am. They will speak on the panel for “Learning from Each Other: Paid Externships – Issues of Equity and Best Practices”. 

The conference is to be held in Southern California at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law from October 7-8, 2022. The conference will provide an exceptional opportunity for externship faculty and administrators from across the nation to convene after more than a year of distanced collaboration and share best practices and innovations. The conference theme, “Embracing Community: Learning from Each Other, Deepening Local Connections, and Refining Remote Relationships,” will allow participants to explore the ways the externship community has developed and externship pedagogy has matured since they came together last.
