Danielle Pelfrey Duryea will be present “Why Population Legal Needs Assessments Are Essential to Medical-Legal Partnership as a Tool for Public Health & Health Justice” at the National Association of County and City Health Officials’ 2022 Public Health Law Practitioners Convening in Chicago from August 17 to 19, 2022.
The inaugural Public Health Law Practitioners Convening will be the first practice-focused gathering of its kind. New and experienced practitioners will have the opportunity to learn practical public health law and policy skills, and network with colleagues from state, tribal, local, and territorial health departments.
The event was created for both new and experienced practitioners with the goal of expanding the use of law and policy as tools to advance public health. Engage with us and future colleagues, share ideas, and gain new skills that can help you improve the public’s health through law and policy.
