Biography

Jennifer Robble received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and her M.L.S. from Indiana University. She joined the Fineman and Pappas Law Libraries as a Legal Information Librarian in 2011, became the Information Resources Management Librarian in 2013, and was promoted to Senior Information Resources Management Librarian in 2018. Prior to her arrival at Boston University, she worked in libraries at the Indiana Attorney General’s Office, the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and Sage College of Albany. She is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, where she has served as a member of the Recruitment & Involvement Committee for the Computing Services Special Interest Section, and the Law Librarians of New England, where she was on the Service Committee. She was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 2012.

Jennifer has taught first year legal research courses, an IP Legal Research class, and in the library’s Certification program. She currently represents the law library on the BU Libraries’ Alma Coordinating Committee. Her areas of interest include integrated library systems, discovery layers, linked data, institutional repositories, intellectual property, and the First Amendment. She has presented on routing electronic journals, shared library catalogs, electronic resource management, and conducting technical interviews and has publications in the Indiana Law Review, Law Library Journal, and Technical Services Law Librarian.
