Jung Ho-seok (korean: 정호석) also known by his stage name: J-Hope or just by Hobi, was born in February 18, 1994. He was born in Buk District, Gwangju, South Korea. That being said his zodiac sign is Aquarius. Hobi is not the only child, he has an older sister whose name is: Jung Ji-woo. In 2019 of March, Hobi enrolled at Hanyang Cyber University for the Master of Business Administration program in Advertising and Media. Althought, Hobi previously graduated from Global Cyber University with a degree in Broadcasting and Entertainment!

Before Hobi debuted with BTS, Hobi was part of an underground dance team, named: Neuron. Hobi took dance classes at Gwangju Music Academy for six year, starting from fouth grade to his firts year in high school. In 2008, Hobi with his amazing and perfect dancing skills, won firts place in a national dance competition. His skills and interest in dancing eventually led him to develop an interest in singing, so he audition to become an idol treinee. In 2012, while Hobi was still a treinee, Hobi appeared as a featured rapper on singer Jo Kwon's song, "Animal".

On March 1, 2018, Hobi released his firts solo mixtape, Hope World. This was accompanied by a mv for the lead single, "Daydream". On September 27, 2019, Hobi released a free collaboration single, "Chicken Noodle Soup", whcih features the american singer: Becky G. After BTS decided to go on a break to focus on their solo careers, Hybe announced Hobi to be the firts member of BTS to begin his solo project! His solo album "Jack in the Box" is stated to be released on July 15, 2022!!! On July 1, 2022, the lead single of the album "More" was released (this made the trend of many army "transform" to emo). On July 31, 2022, Hobi will debut his performance at Lollapalooza. He will be the headlining act for the final day of the festival. Hobi is the firts South Korean artist to headline a main stage at a major music festival in the United Stated.

As said before, Hobi's satge name is J-Hope (korean: 제이홉), was choosen by him, because he hoped to represent hope for ARMY and to be the "Hope of BTS". Hobi is defenetly the hope and sunshine of BTS and ARMY. As I said before, he has amzing dance skills! He's very energetic, although when he is drunk he's the opposite - he becomes a stone. His favorite number is 7. His favorite color is green. His hollywood crush is: Tinashe. Hobi's motto is, "If you don't work hard, there won't be good results".

A few sad facts about Hobi: During the firts year of BTS, the members will usually receive fan letters, but Hobi didnt' usully got any. The timi Jimin handed him a few fans letter, Hobi looked at hi shocked, as he couldn't believe he got fans letter, and than procceded to hug Jimin. During BTS's Debut, Hobi will wear a black mask, at first some ARMY think or thought the mask was used for fashion, until they find out the thruth. That mask was used by Hobi because he thought of himslef as 'ugly', and people would call him 'horse'.
