Classroom / Study Lounge

Our classroom in the library, room B26, is intended for use by Boston University Wheelock College of Education and Human Development faculty, staff and students. It functions as a study lounge when not scheduled for a class. The classroom offers projection and seating for a maximum of 25 persons.

BU community members may book the classroom for classes or workshops at the discretion of the Head of Pickering Library. Please contact picklib@bu.edu to book this room.

Instruction

The Pickering Library offers librarian-led instruction for class sessions. Introductions to library resources for the study of education typically take place in a regular classroom, but sometimes in this room as well. Such instruction normally covers the use of electronic resources and can be tailored to specific topics.

Consultations for individuals and small groups engaged in research are available as well. Please contact the Dan Benedetti, who is the Head of Pickering Educational Resources Library, to schedule a session.
