Services for Questrom Alumni
Library Services for Questrom School of Business Alumni
BU alumni have remote access to many electronic resources including ebooks and full text journal articles. To access these resources, alumni should visit the Alumni Services page on the Library’s website. Follow the link to register for the Alumni Online Community. Registration is required to access databases. Databases available to BU alumni include ABI/Inform, Business Source (EBSCO Alumni Edition), JSTOR, Project Muse, and others. This expanded service was made possible by a collaboration among the Provost’s Office, IS&T, and the Libraries.

Alumni in the Boston area
The Boston Public Library provides onsite and remote access to business/management databases. For access, apply for an ecard (available to Massachusetts residents).
If you have a traditional library card from any public library in Massachusetts, you may also access databases from the Boston Public Library.
Alumni in the New York City area
Business databases are available through remote access through the New York Public Library. The use of these databases requires a Library Card. The Thomas Yoseloff Business Center at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL), part of the New York Public Library, offers information services, on-site access to business databases, and a variety of other services.
Alumni in other U.S. States
Most public libraries offer access to business databases, both onsite and through remote access. In most cases, the only requirement for access is a library card.
Academic libraries that offer business/management programs often allow visitors to access databases, onsite, through library computers. The membership list of the Academic Business Library Directors (ABLD) organization provides a select list of U.S. academic business libraries. A longer list of business schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is available on the AACSB web site.
Alumni outside of the United States
Lists of business school libraries are available through two organizations of academic business library directors:
European Business School Librarians’ Group
Asia Pacific Business School Librarians’ Group
Many of the libraries in these institutions allow visitors to use their resources on site. Business schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business also have libraries that permit visitors to use their resources on site.
