Profile

Pablo de Lora (Ph. D.) is Full Professor of Legal Philosophy at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). He is the author of 9 books (Recordar es político. Una desmemoria democrática, Alianza, Madrid, 2024, is his latest) and has published extensively on bioethics and medical law as well as human rights, animal rights, the morality of sex, gender and feminism. His works have appeared in The American Journal of Bioethics, The Journal of Clinical Ethics, The Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, among others. He has been a visiting researcher at the Centre for Bioethics (Harvard University) and is a regular contributor in the Spanish press (The Objective, El mundo, Letras Libres).
