Seminar on Contemporary Spain


The seminar is organized by BU and taught on the UAM campus. All level 3 students (M3, MIP/3 and Questrom) take a  seminar on Contemporary Spain, which is taught throughout the semester.

Students meet several times during the first week of the program, before UAM classes begin, and once a week during the rest of the semester. Spanish history, literature, politics, religion, economics, feminism, immigration, and social structures are some of the topics addressed.

Seminar activities include visits to the Palacio Real, Congreso de los Diputados, Senado, El Escorial and Valle de los Caídos.
