Webmail, Moodle and Student ID
Intranet
Sign in to Intranet to access webmail and Moodle with your UAM email and password.
Your email address will be something like your.name@estudiante.uam.es
Correo web
Your UAM email is called commonly called webmail, and it’s super easy to use! It’s used as basic communication with teachers and UAM services (such as ORI or IT services), so make sure your webmail is all set before starting classes at UAM! You can enter directly from Intranet by clicking on “Correo web” or “webmail“.
Moodle
Moodle is the virtual platform in which teachers will load all the material that you’ll need for the course. It is also used for other applications like online exercises and even online exams!You can enter directly from Intranet or Moodle UAM. The most important thing to remember is that you need to activate your account before you can use it! Find the “ENTRAR” section and click on “Crear nueva cuenta“.
Create a new password and fill out the required information.
Student ID + Fotomatón
You can use your Carné Universitario to:
– Identify yourself as a member of the university community
– Access all the libraries at the UAM
– Access the sports facilities and qualify for the special rates available to member of the university community
– Print in the computer rooms
– Make purchases and payments (at the UAM)
Most students will receive the Carné Universitario within 2-3 weeks after classes commence. To avoid delays, make sure you see the approved picture in the “fotomatón“ section of Intranet. If you do not see the picture with a green frame (example below), the picture was not approved. Check the requirements and load a new picture!
