Funded Adventures: How to Get Reimbursed for Your Cultural Experiences

What BU will reimburse as cultural activities:
- Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia Museums are free with either an official student ID or your Madrid Transportation Card Abono Joven, so they are not reimbursed.
- Make sure you bring your official BU (or your university) student ID and your metro card to your visit, so you can present the other if one of them does not work at the ticket booth.
Full ticket:
- Madrid Royal Palace, 9€. Buy your official tickets here.
- El Escorial, 7€. Buy your official tickets here.
- Mezquita Córdoba, 10€. Buy your official tickets here.
- Toledo Cathedral, 12€. Buy your official tickets here.
Up to 5€:
- Any National Museums in Madrid, up to 5€
- Outside of Madrid, maximum 3 museums per Spanish city, up to 5€
- Parque Güell, Casa Batlló, up to 5€
- 1 soccer game, up to 10€
- 1 bullfight, up to 5€
Other reimbursements:
- Alhambra, up to 15 €. Buy your official Alhambra Tickets here.
- Tourist pass bracelet in Toledo, up to 10€. Buy the pulsera here.
- Baños árabes in Córdoba and Granada, up to 10€
What BU will not reimburse, among other things:
- Museums such as Museo de la Tortura, Museo del Chocolate, etc.
- Temporary exhibitions
- Concerts
- Terraces and/or miradors
- Círculo de Bellas Artes
- And many other things. Before purchasing tickets, you can always ask us if you have questions about what will be reimbursed.
