Welcome to the Center for Multiscale and Translational Mechanobiology (CMTM) based in the College of Engineering at Boston University. Mechanobiology, the study of how physical cues affect biological processes, is one of the most untapped but potentially revolutionary avenues for advancing clinical care of injury and disease. The Center provides students, faculty, postdoctoral associates, medical residents, and other researchers across both the Charles River and Medical campuses with a rich and dynamic environment for the study and application of mechanobiology.
