Angel Rubio
Angel J. Rubio received his B.S. from M.I.T in 2014. During his undergraduate career, he worked in Dr. David Williams’ laboratory at Boston Children’s Hospital. There he worked on elucidating the role of several Rho GTPases in the development and progression of Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia.
He entered the Ph.D. program in Biomolecular Pharmacology at Boston University School of Medicine in the fall of 2014. He is co-advised by Drs. Tyrone Porter and Xuemei Zhong. His research focus pertains to utilizing lipid-based nanoparticles for the development of cancer immunotherapies.
