Messaging and Chat

Messaging and chat are the most basic forms of remote interaction. A very wide range of connectivity can be supported, and the immediacy of messaging and chat gives them an advantage over email communications.

Streaming with Chat

If a classroom conference is providing a video, audio, and content stream, the simplest way to add interaction from the far end is to use chat as part of the conference.

Two Way Conferencing

Some more discipline is required for two-way conferencing, but full two-way voice and video has benefits over simple chat interaction.
