MET IT provides a wide range of applications. The tables below lists common software available for immediate install or through one of our digital storefronts for MET faculty, staff & students.

- If you are a student and your system is incompatible with any software for install, please take a look at our Virtual Lab.
- If you are a faculty and staff member who needs the purchase of special software, please submit a request.

1 Crowdstrike is pre-installed on new BU equipment by MET IT.
2 BU provides a discount if you are interested in having a personal Microsoft 365 account.
3 Please refer to the Virtual Lab Tutorial if having trouble with the software.
4 An individual license requires a purchase from BUMC. Remote Apps provides the software for free to all MET faculty, staff & students.

1 Most software on Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is available for Windows users only. You may utilize our Virtual Labs if you do not have a Windows operating system.
2 Access must be granted to students and faculty for a particular course before software can be installed. Please see the VMware IT Academy page for instructions.
