VMware IT Academy
Overview
MET College is a member of the VMware Academic Software Licensing Program. This program provides software licenses for teaching, research, and gaining hands-on experience with VMware products. Software included in this subscription:
- VMware Workstation 15 Pro and 16 Pro
- VMware Fusion 11 Pro and 12 Pro
- VMware vSphere 6.x and 7.x Enterprise Plus Edition
- VMware vCenter 6.x and 7.x Server Standard Edition
- VMware vSphere Tanzu Basics
- VMware vRealize 2019 and 7.0 Versions
- VMware NSX-T 3.x
- VMware vSAN 7.x Enterprise Edition
How to Request Access to Storefront
Faculty should submit a class list (both students and instructors) in CSV format to metit@bu.edu. The name of the document should include the Course Number and Section (e.g.-CS693_E1). Each entry of the CSV should take the following format:
- First Name, Last Name, E-mail Address
Accessing Storefront
Once MET IT has successfully added all members of the class list to the subscription, students and instructors should receive an invitation e-mail from info@itacademy.brightspace.com. The e-mail should take this format for reference:
