Virtual Labs
MET Virtual Labs provide access to a scalable, flexible, and securely managed pool of individual virtual Windows desktops hosted and managed by MET IT.
We offer two types of Virtual Labs:
- Open VLabs – Default virtual desktop space containing software for MET courses
- Course-Specific VLabs – Special virtual desktop spaces containing course specific software
Gaining Access
- Instructors should complete the Virtual Lab Request form prior to start of their course.
- Based on the information provided in the form, the following actions will occur:
- Open VLabs – If no special software is required, MET IT will grant access to the students and notify the instructor.
