Frequently Asked Questions

I just finished a recording and it isn’t appearing in the Zoom Recording Library. Is something wrong?

Zoom recordings require several hours to process before being ready for posting. Please wait at least 4 hours for new recordings to appear.

Why am I not seeing the Zoom Recording Library as a student?

The Zoom Recording Library is controlled by the instructor and can be made visible/invisible as needed. Speak with your course instructor if you are unable to see the Zoom Recording Library.

Do I always have to access Zoom Live Classroom through Blackboard?

Yes; instructors and students should always launch their Zoom Live Classroom through Blackboard to preserve the integration functionality.

If you have an external speaker or attendee coming, you may invite them to your Zoom Live Classroom using the method mentioned in this Dynamic Guide article.

How can I view my course’s Attendance reports?

Instructors may review attendance reports in the “Zoom Attendance/Activity” tab in your Blackboard site.
