• Grade Level: Young women from greater Boston high schools who will be entering their junior or senior year in Fall 2022

Summer Pathways is a seven-day residential program that gives young women the opportunity to live in a BU dorm and also discover the infinite possibilities that await them in science and engineering. Participants learn about current research in science and engineering, as well as careers in these fields from women working in them. A combination of field trips, hands-on activities, a taste of college life, valuable advice from career and college admissions experts, plus plenty of good old-fashioned fun makes Summer Pathways a unique educational experience. Included in the 2018 summer program is an overnight on Thompson Island where participants will experience a series of team building exercises and have opportunities to personally challenge themselves.
