The study of infectious diseases is, by its nature, interdisciplinary and NEIDL supports an extraordinary team of faculty, scientific staff, and trainees to conduct the science.
This work cannot be accomplished without the environmental health and safety professionals, facilities and information technology teams, and public safety and community relations personnel who help make the work safe and secure, and continually engage with the public in a transparent manner. NEIDL exists to promote the public’s health by means of a vital effort to prevent and cure life-threatening infectious diseases, while ensuring a safety-first environment.
