I am a BME PhD student at Xue Han’s lab (https://www.bu.edu/hanlab/). I have received my B.S. in BME from the University of Rochester in 2021. I became involved with neurophotonics through joining the Han lab. One aspect of my research involves examining the cellular effects of DBS in mice models of epilepsy in order to improve therapeutic effects. The other aspect is differentiating between physiologic memory-consolidation and pathologic epilepsy biomarkers in mice to optimize resection surgery outcomes in mesial temporal lobe epilepsy. My expected graduation date is 2026.
