Shuqi Zheng (Mertz lab) is a graduate student from ECE Department. She received a BEng in Optical Engineering from Huazhong University of Sci&Tech and a MS in Optics from Imperial College London. She became involved in Neurophotonics after joining the Biomicroscopy Lab where she will be developing optical tools for bio-imaging that can better capture the neuronal activities in mouse brain. Shuqi is currently working on single-shot volumetric fluorescent imaging using micro-lens arrays and computational reconstruction. She expects to graduate in 2024.
